iCivics Education includes free resources organized by grade level and activity as well as options for professional development and walkthroughs for using iCivics.
The resource library is organized by grade level (Elementary, Middle, and High), topic, resource type, integrations, and more.
iCivics offers a range of resources from individual videos all the way to Curriculum Units. Curriculum units contain multiple other resources and include smooth transitions between lessons on a topic. In the "Foundations of Government" curriculum unit there are 7 lesson plans and a game integration to walk students from broad questions like "Why Government?" to an understanding of democracy and the ideas of limiting government.
The most talked about aspects of iCivics would have to be the games. Using the same lesson topics as found in their other resources one can find integrated games to allow students the opportunity to act in their lesson instead of only reading about it. iCivics includes games that simulate everything from county government(Counties Work and Counties Work Texas) to the President of the United States (Executive Command).
