Google is one of the most established technology companies in the world. Many schools use the Google ecosystem  through either the G-Suite of office tools, or by issuing Chromebooks. 

Any Android device, if it is updated to a recent version of Android, comes pre-installed with Google Live Transcribe. 

Google live transcribe performs real-time transcription in multiple languages and saves transcripts for three days for review. Users can respond to voice conversations by text and Google Live Transcribe will speak their response. 

Users can even create custom sound notifications so that their phone can alert them to other audible events.
