Bookshare.org is a combination application and library that is supported by the Office of Special Education programs. The application allows the user to make adjustments to their settings based on the assistance that they need.
The Bookshare Reader allows the user to listen to books in audio, change text sizes, adjust reading speed, and even follow along with the audio book using dynamic highlighting.
Bookshare.org touts on their site that they have over 1.3 million titles available.
The library includes a wide variety of books from early childhood titles to higher-education textbooks. Though there are 1.3 million titles available on bookshare.org not all of them are available to all users. Library access can be granted to individual or school accounts.
